While working in the Lamination department, the incumbent will be applying liquid barriers, knit and puncture-resistant backings to fabric. Lamination employees are trained to utilize overhead hoists as well as our Lamination machinery. Applicants are expected to learn, follow, and perform the following processes/skills/tasks:

• Understand how to safely operate the equipment and utilize personal protective equipment when required
• Properly clean the drum roller, the area surrounding the machine, and keep the rollers clean and free of debris
• Exercise proper care of the equipment at all times and understand how to make adjustments as needed
• Thorough knowledge of which substrate backers to apply to the textiles
• Demonstrated ability to attach splices or new rolls as well as marking substrate seams
• Ability to maneuver easily through FAS to process batches through the system
• Able to identify quality issues and react appropriately according to company protocol
• Full understanding of how to read batch packets and instructions while following the SOP at all times
• Conducts daily cleaning checklist
• Willingness and ability to perform any other tasks as directed by management
• Ability to reliably work 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM Monday through Friday

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 per hour

• Graham, NC 27253: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
